Client Facing Front-End Developer

Who We Are

GuestCloud is a guest management software for live, virtual, and hybrid events. We provide our clients tools for inclusive invitee management, from email invitations, through event microsite creation and registration, all the way to on event badge printing and beyond.

Currently our clients cannot use our platform without our input. We are working on transitioning our solution into a scalable, user-oriented tool where the clients will be able to create and oversee their events entirely on their own. We are a startup looking to take our services to new heights.

Your Role

You will be responsible for client relations management; assisting our clients with all the tasks the platform does not yet allow them to complete themselves. You will also participate in further developing and bettering this platform. Eventually you will focus predominantly on front-end software development. We are looking for a driven, self-starter, who is willing to go beyond his/her comfort zone in the unpredictable world of startups.

Responsibilities

• communicate with clients to collect the event specifications
• implement custom web designs for event websites and email invitations based on client’s requests
• revise and enhance our website and email template

Minimum Requirements

• front-end development experience - HTML, CSS, Javascript
• graphic software skills - Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma
• self-starter, always looking for ways to review and innovate our current frameworks and processes
• client-facing skills and positive attitude

Language Requirements

• Fluency in Slovak
• B2 or higher in English

Preferred Skills

• experience in web design
• Bootstrap, AngularJS, VueJS skills
• experience with version control systems (Git)

Contract type:

Full-time, Independent Contractor (Živnosť)

Workplace:

On-site (Bratislava) and remote work

Salary:

€1500 - €2000, based on experience
